At least seven people have been killed and several others injured when armed men stormed a passenger bus in southern Pakistan, according to the news reports.
The bus was attacked on National Highway in the Nawabashah district in Sindh Province on Friday.
At least 55 passengers were aboard the attacked bus, which was traveling to Peshawar from Karachi. No motive for the attack is known so far.
The injured, including women and children, have been shifted to a local hospital where many of them are said to be in critical condition.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. The attackers managed to escape from the scene.
Police and law enforcing agencies have cordoned off the area and launched investigation.
