At least eight people have been killed and 21 others wounded after a bomb exploded through a busy market in Pakistan’s tribal belt, officials say.
Reports say one person was killed on the spot while seven others died from injuries in hospital.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
Despite the Pakistani government’s operations against militants, they have still been able to spread their influence in various regions of the country and have killed thousands of people.
Thousands of Pakistanis have lost their lives in bombings and other militant attacks since 2001 when Pakistan entered an alliance with the US on the so-called war against terrorism, according to local media.
