Google Talk, Google’s popular chat-messaging service, suffered massive outage on Thursday. Reportedly, GTalk was down in several parts of the world.
Google acknowledged the problem around 4:10 PM IST and initiated investigation of reports from various servers deployed across the world.
According to many users, they were not able to see contacts and send messages. At times, they could see the contacts, but messages were not delivered even after repeated efforts.
Notably, Google Talk is an instant messaging service which is used by millions across the world.
Users’ reactions on micro-blogging website Twitter also signify that GTalk is down as people kept wondering about this massive outage.
