Marlon Samuels (117) and captain Darren Sammy (106) both made hundreds during a West Indies record seventh wicket stand against England of 204.
West Indies,were dismissed for 370 on the second day of the second Test against England at Trent Bridge here on Saturday.
The tourists resumed Saturday on 304 for six, with Samuels 107 not out and Sammy a then Test-best 88 not out.
But both batsmen fell in quick succession to Tim Bresnan, who finished with figures of four for 104 in 27 overs.
England lead the three-match series 1-0 after a five-wicket win in the first Test at Lord’s.
