The Delhi Daredevils beat the Deccan Chargers by 9 wickets in Indian Premier League game at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium in Hyderabad today.
Chasing a target of 188 runs, Delhi finished with 193 runs for the loss of just one wicket with 20 balls remaining. Warner made an unbeaten 109 runs while Naman Ojha remained not out on with 64 runs.
Delhi Daredevils suffered first setback in the first over when skipper Virender Sehwag was dismissed by Shikhar Dhawan in the first over. Sehwag was caught out at the score of four runs.
After losing thier skipper, Virender Sehwag early in the chase, David Warner and Naman Ojha took control of the situation and hammered Deccan Chargers’ bowlers all around the ground.
Warner hammered fifty runs in just 26 balls. He was followed by Naman Ojha, who completed his fifty in 38 balls. Both of them continued with their superb performance to maneuver Delhi to a comperhensive nine wicket win over the hosts.

After early losses, in-form Shikhar Dhawan made excellent 49-ball 84 to guide Deccan Chargers to a challenging 187/4, Dhawan hit 9 fours and 5 sixes in his innings and racked up 126 runs in 70 balls along with Cameron White (65) to take the home team across the 150-mark.
