BJP’s Sushma Swaraj visited Tihar Jail today. She met two party men and the BJP’s former strategist Sudheendra Kulkarni, all arrested in the cash-for-votes scam case.
“Tommorow is Diwali and three of our innocent colleagues are in jail. Their spirit is high, they say don’t worry about us. We had taken out jagruti yatra and had kept two objectives. Our struggle will not end till true criminals brought to book, ” said Ms Swaraj after meeting Faggan Singh Kulaste, Mahavir Bhagora and Sudheendra Kulkarni.
All three were denied bail last week in the cash-for-votes case. The BJP describes them as whistleblowers. Senior BJP leaders LK Advani and Arun Jaitley have visited Mr Kulkarni in jail earlier.
