Sanjay Joshi claims threat to life, writes to Home Minister

Former BJP leader Sanjay Joshi has written a letter to the Union Home Ministry and Delhi Police in which he has claimed of having received death threats, hence security should be provided to him.

Joshi was unceremoniously removed from the party post by BJP chief Nitin Gadkari recently, apparently under pressure from Gujarat strongman Narendra Modi.

In his letter, Joshi has claimed that he has been receiving death threats from an anonymous caller for the past few weeks and considering his public life he should be given security by the Delhi police.

As per reports, Joshi had twice earlier made similar requests with the home ministry but they were rejected.
