A 23-year-old woman working in a pub in a Gurgaon mall was gangraped in the national capital region (NCR) in the wee hours on Monday.
According to the police, the victim was abducted by six youth in a car around 3 am from Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road. She was later raped in an apartment in a south Delhi locality.
Later, the victim registered a case at Delhi’s Mehrauli police station. Giving the girl’s account, the police said that she was raped in an apartment and dropped near Chhattarpur Metro station.
According to police, the victim has accused a co-worker of the crime along with others.
“A girl has lodged a complaint that while she was returning from Gurgaon to Delhi in her cab, some young boys forcefully took her in their car and raped her. The police have registered a complaint and we are looking into all the dimensions of the case,” said a senior police officer.
