Ra.one Movie Story

Shekhar Subramanium (Shahrukh Khan) tries everything possible to impress his son, but Pratik (Armaan Verma) believes that his father is not so cool. In the effort to impress his son, Shekhar designs a game which changes their lives. The game which was meant to be played starts playing with their lives marking the entry of Ra.One and G.One. Computer game where the villain RA.One is more powerful than the hero, G.One. Then the unexpected happens. RA.One enters the real world. Now he is all set to cause destruction everywhere he goes and even G.One might not be able to stop him.

Ra.one Movie Review

The movie have been made with the international standards, Shahrukh Khan has delivered superb performance in both roles like Shekhar and G.One and he emerges as the showman. Kareena Kapoor really doesn’t have much scope to show off her talent, except in the songs and she shines in them. Rajinikanth, rightly referred to as the ‘Real Superhero’ in the movie as well, steals the show within few seconds of his entry and makes the crowd clap and whistle with his mere presence.  Arjun Rampal walks away with the cake for his deadly looks and impresses as the real bad man. Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra are wasted. Satish Shah’s presence induces few funny moments. Shahana Goswami plays her part well.

Cinematography is excellent, while music is decent. Chammak Chhallo which is already riding high on the popularity chart lives up to the hype created,

The visual effects of Ra.One are another highlight of the film and the stunning chase, action scenes and the train sequence in the second half are sure to mesmerise the audience. V Manikandan and Nicola Pecorini’s camerawork, Andy Gill and Spiro Razatos’ stunts, Kanika Dhillon and Niranjan Iyengar’s dialogue and Robert Kurtzman’s designed superhero costumes are excellent and surely add to the successful run of superhero journey.

Ra.One created a loud buzz ever since it was launched. This buzz just grew louder and louder as the release date drew closer. And now that the whole world can “experience” the enormity of Ra.One, the whole world can together sing the praises of this Hollywood style Bollywood serving!

There’s no film like this. The last scene is amzing. Akon has done an awesome job. The music is mind blowing. Its a great thing that Bollywood now has international singers in their movies. SRK has moved on from romantic to sci-fiction & action movies and has indeed done well.

The story juggles between Sci-Fi and Bollywood drama and leaves the audience enthralled in parts. Grab this opportunity to see their hero in a never-seen-before avatar. Rs 18 crore in India on opening day. Ra.One grosses Rs 170 cr in first five days, breaks all previous records. Critics come critics go but the actual critics is us. I loved the movie.

SRK is so awesome. It should be a matter of pride for us to get to watch such an action packed & science fiction movie with great excellence.
