Forest officials have registered a case against actor Mohanlal and two others for the illegal possession of ivory.
The case has been filed by the forest officers against the three on account of possessing the banned items, and the stuff was seized from the actor’s residence during an income tax raid a couple of years back.
Reports claim that Mohanlal has been booked under Section 44(6) of the Indian Wildlife Act along with two other accomplices whose names are PN Krishnakumar and N Krishnakumar.
These two accused had produced documents which stated that they had handed over the ivory to the actor for safe custody at his residence. Range Officer, IP Sanil, was reported to have quoted that the three would be questioned soon regarding the case.
