Kamal Hassan has donated Rs. 15 Lakhs towards the relief work for Thane’ hit areas of Tamil Nadu. He handed over a cheque for the sum to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa at the Secretariat today.
Ever since the appeal came from the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu to the people to donate generously for the relief work for Thane hit areas funds have been flowing from various quarters including industrialists, politicians, common people and celebrities.
Top personalities including Rajinikanth, Surya and Karthi donated big sums to the Government by handing over cheques to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
