An Indian student, Pravin Reddy, doing an MBA at the London Business School was stabbed on Friday in the London borough of Newham Scotland Yard on Saturday said.
Praveen Reddy, was admitted to hospital with stab wounds on Friday and is in a critical state. He stays in an apartment in London’s New Hampshire area.
Police believe Praveen sustained his injuries at an address on Kent Street. Eleven people have been arrested. Four remain in custody.
Praveen’s father is a businessman in Hyderabad. He has appealed to the Indian government for an urgent visa to travel to London.
As per standard practice, Scotland Yard did not name the victim, but said he is in hospital in a critical condition.
