Postmortem reveal that Kiran was smothered to death, though investigating officers assert that her body bore no sign of force.

“Kiran Reddy’s death is suspicious,” said A K Khan, police commissioner, Hyderabad.

“We have sent a detailed questionnaire to the three-member team of doctors who had conducted the autopsy. Once the report is out, we will be able to establish the cause of death,” said Khan.

  1. Citizen says:

Alcohol depresses nerves that control involuntary actions such as breathing and the gag reflex (which prevents choking). A fatal dose of alcohol will eventually stop these functions.

It is common for someone who drank excessive alcohol to vomit since alcohol is an irritant to the stomach. There is then the danger of choking on vomit, which could cause death by asphyxiation in a person who is not conscious because of intoxication.

You should also know that a person’s blood alcohol concentration (BAC) can continue to rise even while he or she is passed out. Even after a person stops drinking, alcohol in the stomach and intestine continues to enter the bloodstream and circulate throughout the body. It is dangerous to assume the person will be fine by sleeping it off.

They are many symptoms on Kiran which show signs of alcohol overdose. Please look at the facts of the case and how the body was found.
Alcohol overdose is fatal. Looks like they both were having a good time at the party. Instead of blaming her husband look into all the facts.

    • Hindu says:

What can happen if Alcohol poisoning symptoms are not detected and were ignored?

The person will choke in his own vomit.
Breathing will slow till it stops.
His body’s temperature will lower down.
There will be insufficient blood sugar in his body and that will lead to a seizure.
Due to dehydration because of vomiting, the person may have a permanent brain damage.
If you ignore any alcohol poisoning symptom, unfortunately, this will lead to – Death.
