Yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s close aide Balkrishna was on Friday arrested from Haridwar in connection with the fake passport case against him.
A special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Dehradun had earlier in the day issued a non-bailable warrant against Balkrishna. He had been asked to be present in the court on Friday but he failed to appear.
The CBI had filed a charge-sheet against Balkrishna on July 10 for allegedly using fake documents to procure a passport.
