BJP wanted to keep Lokpal bill in limbo: Narayanasamy

A day after the Rajya Sabha was adjourned sine die, Minister of State, Parliamentary Affairs V Narayanasamy on Friday said the the government will try to reintroduce the Lokpal Bill in the Budget Session of Parliament.

Narayanasamy also blamed the Opposition and said it was BJP’s attempt to murder democracy.

“BJP is trying to fix the blame on us, but it was them who did this drama, This was all pre-planned by the BJP,” said Narayanasamy.

Narayanasamy added that the Bill is pending in the Rajya Sabha and now the government will discuss on the amendments, speak to Trinamool Congress (TMC) and other allies and will also speak to other parties.
