Birmingham murders: no headway in probe

There has been no headway yet in the probe into the murder of Indian origin man Avtar Singh Kolar in the UK. The 62-year old and his English wife Carole were found killed in Birmingham on Wednesday. 60 detectives are involved in the investigation.

Kolar is the third Indian to die an unnatural death in the UK in two weeks.

The couple’s children appealed to the public to come forward with any leads on the killers.

The couple’s daughter Michelle Kirwan said, “Whoever has done this has not taken just two lives, but the further family. Our hearts are broken forever and our lives will never be the same.”
